The Great Wide Open

The Great Wide Open is a large-scale original painting from the Dreaming of Eleuthera series by Sally Burroughs.

Inspired by family travels through the Bahamas, this work translates the turquoise waters, lush greens, soft island colors, and unhurried pace of Eleuthera into color, movement, and abstract form. Layers of watery blues and greens are punctuated by soft pinks, sunny yellow, and deeper organic tones—a playful interpretation of the landscape, water, vegetation, and unexpected color found throughout the islands.

At 48" x 48", this original is designed to make a statement and bring color, energy, and a sense of escape into a collected interior.
